Confront nature face-to-face while cruising on four wheels with this quad biking or all-terrain vehicle (ATV) adventure. This is definitely a unique and exhilarating way to get in touch with your sense of adventure, satisfying your need for an adrenalin rush by riding these rugged machines through the jungle trails to a waterfall right here within Selangor.
Upon arrival for your ATV adventure, you will be greeted by a friendly guide who will accompany you throughout the whole journey. Before you begin, the guide will conduct a briefing for about 10 minutes on how to handle the semi-automatic 160cc bikes. For first-timers, there is no need to worry as the excursion always focuses on safety and proper training on the use of the bikes. After the briefing, you will be allowed to practice a few rounds on the ATV on flat land before heading into the jungle.
Once the guide is confident of your ability to handle the bike, you will then begin an exhilarating adventure you will never forget. There will be some portions of the journey which require technical skills and teamwork such as riding up steep trails and through bumpy muddy holes – but all under the watchful eye and guidance of the tour guide. We guarantee a satisfying sensation when you overcome these fun obstacles.
After about a 1 – 1.5 hours ride up and down the jungle trails, you will arrive at Sungai Ampang Falls or locally known as "Sofea Jane Waterfall", so named after a famous Malaysian actress who shot a scene from one of her more popular movies at these said waterfalls. Compared to Khamisah Waterfall (7-tier waterfall), this fall provides an entirely different scenery as it is a much bigger rocky waterfall. Here you will take an approximately 30-minute-long break to enjoy the pristine surroundings and even take a dip in the cool waters of the waterfall.
After the break, you will then start your trip back to the ATV headquarters. We must warn you that you may feel reluctant to leave this sanctuary. You will follow the same trail back, but feel more confident in handling the bike.
This experience is highly recommended for those who love the outdoors and would love to explore it in a unique and adventurous way. You will walk away from this experience feeling proud of yourself and always remembering how you were able to conquer the terrains of the jungle while having fun! Participant Guidelines
No driving license is required. However, a minimum age of 16 years is required. It is an advantage if the participant is familiar with basic driving skills.
You will be required to sign an indemnity form before carrying out the experience. Insurance is not included and personal accident coverage which includes ATV rides is recommended.
Weather
This experience is highly dependable on weather conditions. We may need to re-schedule your experience due to bad weather conditions, for safety reasons.
Availability
This adventure is available everyday, from 9am to 5pm, depending on availability. We recommend booking at least 5 days in advance.
Number on Days
You may join other participants during the day.
Duration of Experience
The adventure will take about 2 hours to 2.5 hours. This includes the waterfall break.
Dress Code
Participants are required to wear sports shoes with socks, sportswear or unrestrictive comfortable and breathable clothing. You may also wear swimwear underneath your clothing if you would like to take a dip into the waterfall. A new set of clothing is highly recommended as you may get dirty and muddy during the adventure.
Other items which we recommend to bring include:
• Insect repellent
• A Small towel
• Sun Block, of which we recommend a minimum of SPF15
Extra Info
This experience includes mineral water, a guide as well as training and an ATV vehicle. All you need to bring with you is a great sense of adventure. This adventure is also conducted by experienced guides who are always focused on safety as certain trails are notorious for being significantly more difficult and sometimes dangerous. Participants are required to be disciplined and attentive to the guide’s instructions, not only to ensure safety but also to make the most of their experience.
