An exerience that we guarantee will leave you with a new-found appreciation for Malaysian culture and tradition! Unique to the state of Kelantan, shadow play or wayang kulit is an entertaining ancient art form that not many people, even the locals are exposed to.
If this is your first time in Malaysia, this is must-do experience here in Kelantan OR if you're a local and never experienced 'wayang kulit' before, then you should discover and learn this delicate ancient form of entertainment.
Your experience will start with by learning the art of creating these delicate puppets. A craftsmen will demonstrate, teach and guide each of you on how a puppet is created from scratch. You will learn the basics of how a puppet is sketched, what materials are used how a puppet is put together. You will also be given the opportunity to paint your very own puppet and bring it back as a souvenir.

Please ensure booking at least 3 days in advance. We are open from Thursdays to Sundays from 9am - 5pm. We are closed on Fridays.

Comfortable clothing. We strongly advise you to wear non-revealing clothes as you will be entering into a village area.
