This fun outdoors experience is set in Gunung Raya, Langkawi’s tallest mountain and home to some 400 tree species and an array of wildlife including the flying lemur, mouse deer, lorries, wild boar, civet cat and at least 40 species of snakes. A fun and great way to experience nature but beware that this is not an easy course as it will definitely test your physical fitness.
This course starts with an uphill walk through the bush for 20 minutes guided by a professional guide. Upon reaching the checkpoint at a slab of rocks, you will be taught to abseil and familiarize yourself with the equipment. This is where the course really kicks in with a network of cables and ropes from walking on steel cables, tree climbs and flying fox among others. Worry not as your safety is of utmost importance and each participant will be hooked to a multitude of safety devices.
This 2 hour tree climbing and rope swinging experience will leave you buzzing from the adrenaline. Enjoy soaring through the rainforest with magnificent views of the west side of the island that will surely leave a lasting impression.
