A short but very sweet escape from the city, this 5 hour day trip experience is perfect for fishing enthusiasts or for those who are just looking for a quiet serene day with the sea.
Nestled among beautiful islands within the South China Sea and untouched by modern development, our rustic fishing-village-like resort or locally known as ‘Kelong’ is truly an oasis of tranquillity. Here you will be able to unwind and spend your whole day just you, your fishing rods and best buddies or family. On the other hand, you can just laze under the sun without all the worry in the world with sea breeze comfortably cooling your skin. As you relax to the gentle sounds of the waves, you can also get to savour majestic views. Such a rewarding getaway!
Because our ‘Resort at Sea’ is an angler’s paradise, you are able to enjoy some of the most exciting fishing experience off the coast of Penyabong (north of Mersing, Johor). As we aim to cater to both avid anglers and tourists simply coming for a restful retreat, this fishing-village-like resort strongly stresses on comfort nonetheless. As this is also a family-friendly environment, we strive to ensure the safety of our guests by providing a fencing perimeter.
Your experience with us will include a lunch (if you arrive in the morning) or dinner (if you arrive in the afternoon). Our restaurant serves live and fresh seafood. Hot and cold beverages are provided free-flow throughout the day and night. So if you are looking for a fishing trip or simply a short but sweet getaway from the city, go ahead and grab along your best buddies and your fishing rods and head on over to our Resort at Sea - a place where you can always rely on for great fishing experiences and relaxing holidays.
Note: This experience does not include fishing equipment. Boat rentals for fishing trips, fishing bait and equipment can be arranged directly with the resort upon request.

Venue
7 minutes boat ride off the coast of Mersing, Johor. Directions to the Jetty will be provided upon activation of voucher. Price quoted includes return boat transfer to the resort (to and from Penyabong Jetty).

Participant Guidelines
• Visitors need to note that facilities are very basic but adequate, with a unique comfort for added comfort. Rooms are designed to cater for those who seek adventure out on the open sea. • Electricity is turned on from 7pm to 7am the next morning. All corners of the ‘Kelong’ is lit up to ensure high visibility for activities as well as for safety of guests. • Fresh water for washing, bathing and cleaning is available on taps and in the numerous bathroom/toilets around the ‘Kelong’. The fresh water is sourced directly from the hills on Acheh Island nearby so you can enjoy a fresh and invigorating bath as and when you please. • Rate does not included RM2 per pax for jetty fees which is payable directly at jetty. Land Transfer can be arranged upon special request and additional costs apply.
Weather
Your booking will proceed whether rain or shine. The resort has covered area for you to relax in while waiting for the rain to subside. In the case of adverse weather condition which is not suitable for your boat rides, your transfer will be delayed and rescheduled until weather conditions improve.
Availability
We recommend booking (upon activation of voucher) at least 3 weeks in advance.

Duration of Experience
8am – 1pm OR 2pm – 7pm (5 hours) Boat transfers are available daily from 8am to 8pm. You may arrive at the jetty at 8am or 2pm. We can also make arrangements for other arrival times. You will return 5 hours after your arrival time.
Dress Code
Swimwear and comfortable tropical beach wear are recommended for a relaxing day by the sea. As you allowed to fish, please bring along your fishing rods, fishing equipment, insect repellent, torch light and additional batteries.
