Have you written a song, with the melody and lyrics in place, but do not have the opportunity to record it? Or do you know someone who is in the same predicament? Look no further as we have the perfect solution for you! Our Songwriter for a Day experience gives you the chance to turn your dreams into a reality. You could be the next Bob Dylan or Taylor Swift!
Our package will give you a chance to actually record your original composition in a proper recording studio with the help of a professional producer. If you find yourself stuck in between a verse or chorus, your very own producer can provide valuable advise to improve your masterpiece, and also assist in the arrangement, recording, mixing & mastering of your song.
This experience includes:
• Arrangement: Putting together the instrumentation (e.g. guitars, piano, drums, bass, effects, keyboards, etc) in a style that suits the person's vision of the song (Pop, RnB, Rock, Acoustic, Inspirational, New Age, etc)
• Recording: Recording the person singing the song or playing some instruments in the song (guitar, keyboards, etc)
• Mixing: putting together the elements of the song to make it sound polished and professional
• Mastering: making the song 'radio-friendly' by making the levels pop loud and clear, balancing for playback on all audio systems. Finalising the song into mp3 file (for emailing/web) and also an audio CD (for playback on CD players)
You may be recording this song for your personal listening pleasure or to become a future recording artist yourself. Alternatively, you may even want to submit the track to be sung by an established recording artiste. Brace yourself as you just might be on your way to super-stardom!

All musical instruments will be available for use at the studio on the day. It would be great to bring along written music notes or a rough unplugged demo, if available.

We recommend booking at least 3 weeks in advance. Please note that weekends are usually a busier period so it will be best to book earlier than indicated.
