This experience is perfect for new mothers as it’s a gentle fitness class to help new mothers regain structural posture that relives common symptoms associated with post natal such as back pains and cramps. Even if you do not encounter these problems, this yoga session is a great way to relax and re-energise in a warm and supportive environment.

The best part? Your little one can join in the fun too and you don’t have to worry about leaving him or her at home as it makes up for a great mummy and baby bonding session. Suitable for all new mothers and babies up to the age of 6 months, this is an experience that will give you a new breath of life from your daily motherhood routine. There are various benefits for your baby as the touch and movements give multi-sensory stimulation to the baby and rhymes and actions help with your baby's spatial awareness and development.

This is a great way to bond with your newborn child as well as enjoy the company and support of other new mothers and babies, under the supervision of a qualified instructor in a cosy and intimate studio. It’s a safe and relaxing workout and you get to make new friends! Plus, you can also enjoy a scrumptious meal at the adjoining café as a reward for your effort in staying fit!

Your experience starts with a quick round of introductions, especially for those who are new to the class, for you to get to know other new mothers. The class will then commence with a short 5 minute warm up. Yoga poses include those that focus on strengthening the core muscles (i.e. the abdomen, the back and the buttocks) and improving posture and balance. Your baby can get in on the fun too!

After your mummy-baby yoga experience, you will feel re-energised and probably a bit peckish. Here’s where you can reward yourself and indulge in the café’s delicious array of healthy and homemade food created specially for the wellbeing of mums and mums-to-be, using fresh ingredients and less salt. The lunch menu boasts a selection of freshly cut sandwiches made with daily baked bread, hearty meals such as pies and even yummy baked potatoes. Healthy soup is also made every day, so come and see what we have in the pot. Be sure to try the selection of comfort foods such as brownies, muffins or cakes – but a definite must- try is the angelic cupcakes. If your husband is waiting to pick you up after your class, invite him to the café to share this delightful indulgence meal!

The studio comes complete with nappy changing (free nappies provided!), breastfeeding areas and a play corner for kids. It’s a comfortable environment where you will feel right at home but also socialise with other mummies and babies!

This experience is a perfect and unique gift for new mothers. Participant Guidelines

This experience is ideal for new mothers 2 months after delivery, depending on their health status. When you're exercising, be constantly aware of how you feel. You should stop immediately if you experience dizziness, faintness, headaches, bleeding, pain or shortness of breath. Please inform the instructor immediately if you experience any of the above symptoms. Meal voucher is worth RM50 and valid for any food and beverage items from the menu. Meal should be redeemed after class – at one time only. You can also opt to take-away.

Weather

Fitness routines for mothers and babies are carried indoors and not affected by local weather conditions.

Availability

We recommend booking at least 7 days in advance. Classes are usually scheduled every Thursday (10.30am-11.30am) and Saturday (10.30am-12.30am)

We operate with a maximum of 10 participants. You will join other participants during the day.

Dress Code

Participants should be attired in comfortable exercise gear; tracks, t-shirt or “breathable” clothing is ideal.

Extra Info

This experience is conducted by a highly trained instructor with prenatal and postpartum exercise certification and is carried out within a safe and friendly environment.
