Almost all kids enjoy helping out in the kitchen and love to pretend to cook! Give your child the opportunity to actually get a taste of how it feels like to be in a real kitchen and be their own chef with this experience! Start exploring their talents with cooking at a young age and who knows, he or she might be the next Jamie Oliver or Nigella Lawson!
This activity turns cooking and baking into an enjoyable and creative learning experience, designed especially for kids which not only teaches them about cooking, but also about origins of food, hygiene, full preparation, kitchen safety, presentation of dishes and even table manners! The best part of this experience is that the children sit down at the dining table together and enjoy the fruits of their labour! Even kids who dislike vegetables end up eating them because they cooked it themselves!
The experience is conducted in a safe kitchen environment with friendly and fun cooks who always keeps a watchful eye and guide them throughout the whole activity. The whole studio is designed as a friendly ‘playhouse’ and provides a warm, soothing atmosphere for children to feel comfortable. Apart from learning how to cook, your child can also make new friends and feel more confident socialising and being more aware of how to carry themselves in the kitchen.
The menu for this class changes every week, but ultimately they will learn how to cook one main meal and one dessert. The theme ranges from Asian, Spanish and Italian to sweets and cakes. Please notify us if you’d like to find out the latest cooking themes for the week.
This experience is suitable for children age 5 years and above and makes the perfect gift for pre-schoolers and schoolers. It takes them away from their daily routine for a more fulfilling and fun activity. Be prepared to have a mini chef in your kitchen after this experience!
