Ever feel that your kids are spending too much time in front of the telly and Playstation? Gather your kid and 5 other friends or cousins and give them an afternoon of creativity and fun. Let the kids tap into and explore the creative side of their brain. Research has found that spending 30 minutes on a creativity workout will help build a better brain. Allowing your kids explore an unfamiliar area of knowledge will be beneficial to the development of their brains.
This experience will teach them the basics of designing and making their own jewellery from scratch. No prior experience is required and in less than one hour, your kids will be creating and taking home pieces their own hand-made jewellery masterpieces.
Our friendly Instructor will put them at ease from the start of the class with a brief introduction of herself and the content of the workshop. They will be given a set of tools to work with, a wide selection of beads to mix and match, and a short tutorial lesson.
Learn techniques like stringing, knotting, crimping and attaching clasps. Wade through the wide selection of beads, and choose colours they like for the creation of their masterpieces. They will be assisted throughout, from design concept to creation. Kids normally have a shorter attention span, hence this experience comes with a short break of 15 minutes to let kids play with each other, have a cup of hot chocolate over cupcakes of various flavours. They are guaranteed to have a good time! For accompanying parents, you can also put your hands towards some beading lessons too! We can also arrange a beading experience for you and other parents.
